Little Vera
Little Vera is a 1988 Russian film, directed by Vasili Pichul. The title is pun in Russian, also translating to "Little Faith," symbolizing the characters' little to no hope. The movie follows Vera, a teenage girl who has just finished school, and how she comes into conflict with her parents. The teens in the film are emblematic of the stereotype of youthful hooligans and used to present a pessimistic and cynical of Soviet society. |
